Some of you using the Yureka / Plus might have got the notification. The update will also be made available for the Yuphoria Smartphone at a later date (yet to be announced). The Cyanogen OS update comes with redesigned launcher, smarter screen feature that will adjust the screen depending on the environment conditions.
Then there will be the boxer powered calendar + email that can be used to easily share your schedule appointments and availability. AudioFX got a fresh look and handset will support many more video and audio file formats.
Make sure to keep the battery % at over 74% and better use a good net connection (WiFi) to download the update. It may take some time for the system to start. Most likely all your data and apps that you installed will be intact, but better take a backup just in case.
Let us know how the update went and if you noticed any significant change in performance and battery backup.
